Boismortier - Bassoon Concerto 34

Boismortier - Bassoon Concerto
Joseph Bodin de Boismortier (1689 - 1755) was a French writer. He was one of the first composers who are not patrons. 1724 in music, he may carve royal license, and went over 100 pieces of music and a lot of money selling it to the public.
Metz moved his family that lived in the area where the famous composer from Boismortier an motets got his education. He worked for the Royal Tobacco Control in France before he married the daughter of a wealthy goldsmith. He moved to Paris in 1724 with his wife and compose music to carve. He was the first French composer to write a concerto for solo instrument, and in many different forms, including written for instruments and voice. After that she became a theoretical and instruction manuals written for flute and viola.
He was a very popular composer. His compositions for voice alone was enough copies sold to wealthy people. As much criticism as he was applauded what Jean - Benjamin de La Borde, a music theorist, and was written by the contemporary Boismortier evident. From ancient and modern music (1780) in his essay:

"Boismortier lived in a time when people wanted music to be easy and pleasant to hear. The taste of the most skilful player, and the fashionable airs flute, violin, Oboe, musette, hurdy-gurdy and a multitude composed duos ... He was very successful, but unfortunately He was a lot of harmonies, some of which are pleasant was peppered with outbursts of his talent and wasted so many clients that he once squeezed one of them said.
"I said, Good Sir Boismortier, whose prolific pen,
Each month will be almost no pain with a new ditty conceives "
In answer to his critics, Boismortier, said: "I do not save me" to be. The singer was a pleasant, creative, and good company. "
It has been shown Boismortier styles that are sold, 'Hit' is a writer, I have no doubt that the enemy in the eye and the other rumors that it may contain. The bassoon concerto with little evidence of his talent shows. Music is simple, baroque era 'easy listening' music. The music world is no room for that.
