Saint-Saëns - Cello Concerto No. 1
The first years from an instrument long enough to grow as a conservative
reformer from the instrument - Camille Saint-Saëns, a long life, (1921 1835) to
live. His
first cello concerto in 1872, when he was still a reformer that 'modern'
composers Liszt and Wagner had written to accept his leadership. A
series of rotational movement of the concerto form, but there are three main
categories. Different
from other collection, this one does not have a single interpretation of the
orchestral introduction before. Instead,
an orchestra and then to have a loud chord, hear the saxophone. The
first section covers, themes, orchestra, solo, sometimes acting against each
other, never played with each other to be heard. The
first section of the sonata form of dress, but the loose theme rather than
sonata form, with very little development. The first section and
second section of the segues. The
second section is small, and the minuet and finale of the third section, which
recapitulates the theme from the first chapter and ending before the
introduction of new elements within the segues. Cello
concerto No. 1 single for a very technically demanding. Saint-Saëns
organ and orchestra, such as a single full range of activities all the time,
but you can always hear in the balance, the accordion. It
is a virtuoso work of a virtuoso cellist, and a few days ago that the
repertoire of the cello has to be directed in writing by a virtuoso musician.
