Arnold Bax (1883 - 1953) Was an English composer and poet. His restless intellect, he could not read voraciously. The Irish poet and playwright WB Yeats in Ireland for a strong inclination to work through. Inspection and the countryside and the sea to Ireland and Bax have been extended to him and his love for music that reflects the country and the people inspired to write. But Ireland was not his only influence. Norwegian and Russian music influenced his compositions.
His orchestral music is complex and it is a hint of impressionism with a colorful. He is 7 television, many tone poems, and other pieces of the chamber orchestra, choral, and solo piano music composed. He was a fine pianist, but rarely was on the concert platform.
After the premiere of his Symphony # 6, 1935, and the writing was that same year. Bax was not a favorite tune. The three movements are formal, but the opening of the final three are the two categories. Bax's symphony orchestra, and the use of objects such as music, good, original material to start with a demonstration of his skills. Why not listen to more often a mystery.
